• Exception handling prevents floating-point errors (such as divided-by-zero, math domain error, overflow/underflow, etc.) from crashing the program.
• The built-in function parser is able to calculate symbolically the derivative (or partial derivative) of the user-typed function (if its differentiable).

• The plots are fully interactive. They can be zoomed, moved, or rotated (for 3-D only).

• The program delivers hints in the form of text, audio clues, video clues or web links. A quiz can even be designed to take the student to a web site or an online encyclopedia with a passage to read in order to find the correct answer. This also enhances the learning process.
