Earthquake Monitor for Turkey receives updates at regular intervals (as chosen by the user) from
an earthquake list from Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute of the University
of Bogazici, Istanbul, Turkey. It displays earthquakes on that list on a 3D raster map of Turkey
that allows you to zoom in or out, read the location, and view the magnitude details. It will notify
you when new earthquakes occur.
A sortable list lets you view by location, date, time, magnitude,
or depth. For residents and those doing business in Turkey, this can be a valuable source of information.
For students of geology and seismology, its an excellent view of an extremely active area. The
interface is available in either English or Turkish.
