MiniCap has a convenient interactive capture mode (based on Screenshot Captors Redbox Capture mode) which may be useful if you dont want to have something like Screenshot Captor running in the background. But where MiniCap really shines is its use as a non-interactive commandline tool.

Gadwin PrintScreen can capture the entire Windows screen, the active window, or a specified area. The hot key defaults to the PrintScreen key, but users may also define other keys to initiate a capture. Gadwin PrintScreen allows you to e-mail the captured images.
