About Text2Speech
The Text2Speech project started in 2005 when 13 year old David Futcher made an extremely simple Text To Speech (TTS) Program using Visual Basic. He kept going with the project before getting bored of it. In November 2006 he re-made the (at this point) extremely simple program in C#. He continued working on the project and set up a SourceForge account for it. To this day the project has been downloaded almost 2500 times. It is currently at version 1.0.2 and the code for version 1.1 is being written.
