If you didnt already know, the Zip format is the industry standard format for storing files and folders in a single, tightly-compressed archive. Windows XP even has built-in support for Zip archives. If you have Windows XP, then Tech-Pro Zip supplements this built-in support by providing a separate Zip / Unzip application. You can use Tech-Pro Zip instead of Windows XPs Explorer, or as an alternative. We think you may find that Tech-Pro Zip is actually a more convenient way to work with Zip files!

If the archive is an ICE, ARJ or ZIP, you also can add, update and delete files stored within the archive.
