MyGeneration is an extremely flexible development tool written in Microsoft .NET. MyGeneration generates code from templates that can be written in C#, VB.NET, JScript, and VBScript.
MyGeneration is great at generating ORM architectures or O/R Mapping files for architectures such as Gentle.NET, Opf3, NHibernate, and others. The meta-data from your database is made available to the templates through the MyMeta API.
MyGeneration supports Microsoft SQL, Oracle, IBM DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Access, FireBird, Interbase, SQLite and VistaDB. MyGeneration can also generate code for non-Microsoft operating systems. MyGeneration installs with many sample templates that generate C# and VB.NET code, Stored Procedures, PHP, HTML and more.
If you dont find what you need after installing MyGeneration, checkout our online template library. MyGeneration has a very unique feature that allows you to create your own Graphical User Interface and thereby provide a user interface for your template.
Your templates can then capture data through a Windows Graphical interface and copy it to a data structure for use in the actual code generation. Each template has an optional User Interface code section. MyGeneration supports both projects files and a command line interface.
