The Favorite Start Page is a skinable browser start page which can import and export your IE5.5+ bookmarks. It is a single, dynamic HTML file which you can store on your hard disk and which therefore loads quickly whether you are online or offline.
Navigating to a bookmark is easy, as each top-level bookmark folder is represented by a box that expands when you move the mouse pointer over the title. Each bookmark is shown together with an icon when available. You can move or delete bookmarks using drag-and-drop, and you can make your most commonly used bookmarks permanently visible. The page will stay synchronized with your IE bookmarks.
You can configure some aspects of looks and behavior with the programs settings. Online CSS skins can be downloaded and edited from within the page and then stored locally, within the one-and-only HTML file. You can backup all your bookmarks or transfer them to another computer by making a copy of this single HTML file. The page can be viewed with almost any browser, so if you put the page on the internet you will be able to access your bookmarks from any online computer, or share your bookmarks with other people.
It features a graphics cache which makes icons and skin graphics load quickly and trouble-free, and which can even be used to improve icon load times within Internet Explorer itself (just like the program called FavOrg does).
